We're Looking for an Experienced Gyprock Plasterer
Lady Tradies Trade Services is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Gyprock Plasterer to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified plasterer with a minimum of 5 years' experience, particularly in residential plastering.
You will be completing wall and ceiling lining installations through to paint-ready stage, including plasterboard installation, setting, cornice, patching, repairs and finishing across residential properties throughout Southeast Queensland.
Our work includes residential insurance repairs and private works, so experience working within the insurance repair industry would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
We're looking for someone who:

Is a qualified Gyprock Plasterer with a minimum of 5 years' experience

Has strong residential plastering experience

Can complete wall and ceiling lining installations from installation through to paint-ready finish

Produces consistently high-quality work with excellent attention to detail

Can work efficiently and independently

Takes pride in leaving every job clean, tidy and ready for the next trade

Communicates professionally with customers and our office team

Has experience in insurance repairs or similar occupied residential environments (preferred)

Understands the importance of completing work correctly the first time and minimising return visits and rectification work

About the Role
This is a full-time, hands-on plastering role completing residential wall and ceiling lining works from installation through to a paint-ready finish.
Your work will include:

Plasterboard wall and ceiling lining installation

Setting and finishing plasterboard joints
-
Cornice installation
-
Patching and repairs
-
Sanding and finishing to a high-quality, paint-ready standard

Residential insurance repair works
-
Private residential works
-
Working in both occupied and unoccupied homes

Ensuring work areas are properly protected and left clean and tidy

Completing jobs efficiently and to a consistently high standard

Communicating professionally with homeowners, clients and our office team
Our work is predominantly residential, with jobs located throughout Southeast Queensland.
About You
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Gyprock Plasterer who takes pride in their workmanship and can confidently complete plastering works from installation through to paint-ready stage.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A relevant plastering qualification

A minimum of 5 years' plastering experience

Strong residential plastering experience

Demonstrated experience installing wall and ceiling linings

Strong setting, cornice, patching, repair and finishing skills

The ability to consistently achieve a high-quality, paint-ready finish

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to work efficiently and independently

Good time management and the ability to manage multiple jobs

A professional and respectful approach when working in customers' homes

A strong focus on completing work correctly the first time

A commitment to keeping work areas clean, protected and tidy
Previous residential insurance repair experience would be highly regarded but is not essential.
We are looking for an experienced tradesperson who is confident completing full plasterboard wall and ceiling lining works, not someone whose experience is limited to basic patching and minor repairs.
